IRON MAIDEN - Live In New York 1982 - SPA Top Gear Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

This is live material, well known among fans, recorded in June 1982, during the tour promoting the LP "Number Of The Beast". The concert was broadcast on the radio and released in a minimal run on a promotional, two-disc vinyl worth hundreds of dollars today. This Spanish, limited CD contains the full, 63-minute broadcast in unusually clean sound quality and with professional links between the tracks. The band was in excellent form, and on drums played the sorely missed Clive Burr, who himself gave Maiden an additional 20-30% of excellence. In addition two tracks ("Sanctuary" and "Drifter") recorded in 1980 at the London club Marquee and released only on the rare Japanese maxi "Live + One" (together with the well-known "Phantom Of The Opera") are included. As far as I know, these two tracks have never come out on an official CD! So this is absolutely classic Maiden from the best period and in better quality than the catalogue "Live After Death" (two years later)! The CD has been adorned with nice photos taken mainly from the rare, official concert programme. A must!
