RENAISSANCE - RENAISSANCE - Renaissance (1st Album) - GER Repertoire Remastered 180g Press - LISTENprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
Renaissance is an English band combining elements of rock, folk and classical music. Great arrangements, very melodic compositions, symphonic sweep. An excellent progressive debut from 1969 (with psychedelic touches) - with Keith Relf (ex-Yardbirds) on vocals! Also appearing on the record: the former Yardbirds drummer Jim McCarthy, the future bassist of Colosseum and Steamhammer Louis Cennamo, and the future keyboardist of The Strawbs John Hawken. After the second record the band radically changed its line-up, but the music remained almost the same. Excellent sound! Highly recommended! (JL) -

A great British progressive supergroup made up of leading jazz and rock musicians. RUSH - RUSH - Caress Of Steel - USA Mercury 1976 2nd Press - NEAR MINT VINTAGE VINYLprice: 300,00 PLN / 75,00 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! Very rare second American Mercury pressing from 1976 of the brilliant third album by the Canadians, recorded in 1975. The sleeve comes from the first edition, and the only difference compared with the first vinyl pressing is a slightly longer inscription at the top of the SAME label, while the matrices are the same! It is hard to find a better condition! Excellent sound! The sleeve has micro-scuffs: a strong EXCELLENT+ (almost MINT-) / Record like new: MINT- -

LP
SALAMANDER - SALAMANDER - The Ten Commandments - SPA Guerssen Press - LISTENprice: 140,00 PLN / 35,00 EUR
Beautifully presented Spanish reissue on 180-gram vinyl and, like the super rare British original from 1971, in a sleeve that folds out four times (to the size of a large poster). This progressive record was made on the basis of the ten commandments, although in reality only the very emotional introduction sounds like 'Christian rock'. The English band recorded only this one album, harking back to the output of The Moody Blues (from 1967-1970) - that is, a fairly gentle variety of melodic prog rock, based on the sound of the almost ubiquitous Hammond organ, the guitar usually remaining somewhat in the background and occasional orchestrations. Fans of old, progressive playing should be delighted - even atheists :-) After all, even the late Tomasz Beksiński adored this record... Very highly recommended! Condition: NEW -

LP
SAMURAI (UK) (see also: Web / Greenslade) - SAMURAI - Live In Sweden 1971 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A limited, black vinyl from the French label Verne, containing a full recording of a unique, excellent, 35-minute performance by the British progressive band, broadcast by Swedish radio in the spring of 1971. The band Samurai, known from its only album (released under its new, changed name), was then still performing under the name Web - associated with the LP "I Spider", released at the end of 1970 and harking back to the work of King Crimson and Colosseum. As it happened, however, just before the concert tour the saxophonist left the band, so both the compositions from the album "Samurai" (1971) and from 'I Spider' were presented in Sweden in somewhat different, more guitar-and-organ, rock arrangements! Perfect pressing and very clean sound. A must! Condition: NEW, unsealed. (JL) -
LP
SATIN WHALE - SATIN WHALE - Desert Places - GER ICON Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A superb debut album, released in 1974 by Brain Metronome (and sounding like 1972), by a German band playing refreshing, energetic and fairly melodic/catchy progressive rock (lots of Hammond organ, lots of flute, electric guitars, powerful, dense drums) in the vein of the best moments of Jane, Eloy, Out Of Focus, Nektar and Twenty Sixty Six And Then - with a pinch of Jethro Tull (flute). Every track is great - there really is no filler and none of the later, art-rock moping. To tell the truth, as far as more commercial, heavier krautrock goes, this is an exemplary record and it is recommended to all lovers of old rock! Excellent sound! A MUST! -
LP
