GILA (see also: Popol Vuh) - GILA - Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee +1 - GER Garden Of Delights Edition - LISTENprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
The second studio album - a slab of wonderful music. Completely different material from the debut. Full of mystery, melodic music created using classical instrumentation, although there is a lot of experimenting with sound. Slight Oriental influences. A piece about the annihilation of the Indians... 2000 edition, with one bonus track. -
GILA (see also: Popol Vuh) - GILA - Gila - EU Eclipse Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released in 1971 by BASF, a wonderful debut album by a German band inspired by the work of Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream, Amon Dull II and Popol Vuh (Gila's leader later worked with that group), stylistically resembling a very long version of "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" divided into six parts! A very spacious, somewhat cosmic sound, very few (British) vocals, ubiquitous guitars, excellent production and great, natural sound. This is one of the ten best albums from Germany! A must! -
GOLOWIN, SERGIUS (see also: Ash Ra Tempel / Wallenstein) - SERGIUS GOLOWIN - Lord Krishna von Goloka - US Lion Editionprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
American edition (with a nice booklet) of the only album by a Swiss musician, poet and intellectual - singing (a little) in German and surrounded here by a galaxy of excellent musicians from the circle of the krautrock labels Pilz and Ohr (Klaus Schulze, Witthuser und Westrupp, Wallenstein) and belonging to the krautrock canon. Admirers of the somewhat gentler moments on the classic albums of Ash Ra Tempel, Mythos and Gila will be delighted. Recommended! (JL) -
GURU GURU - GURU GURU - Guru Guru (4th Album) - GER Digipack Edition - LISTENprice: 85,00 PLN / 21,25 EUR

GURU GURU - GURU GURU - UFO - GER Ohr Edition - LISTENprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
German reissue on the OHR label. Released in 1970, the debut album by this cult German progressive (krautrock) band would be perfect as the soundtrack for the landing of an alien spaceship. The most far-out album in the group's discography. Great, heavy, guitar playing in the Hendrix style, but strongly slowed down. A veeery psychedelic record. A must! (JL) -
GURU GURU - GURU GURU – Mani und seine Freunde +1 - MIG Music Remastered Card Sleeve Editionprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
Originally an album from 1975, made after the break-up of the then line-up of Guru Guru. Formally it came out under the name Guru Guru, but in practice it was a quasi-solo album by Mani Neumeier with invited musicians. The record is very varied: from jazz-rock associated with Kraan, through ethnic and experimental elements, to Mani's characteristic, somewhat absurd humour. -

An excellent second album containing only four tracks of very loose form, with plenty of heavy guitar improvisations - all of it, of course, in a krautrock sauce. Remastered 2021 reissue, in a digipak. -

The record contains four heavily extended tracks, full of changing moods and lasting 11-15 minutes, inspired by the work of Pink Floyd, Hendrix, Zappa or early Tangerine Dream. Excellent, strongly psychedelic guitar playing with few vocals. In addition two live recordings from the same period are included! A must! (JL) -
HABOOB (see also: Embryo) - HABOOB - Haboob - US Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Classic German (though created by American musicians) krautrock, reminiscent of Embryo's work from 1971-73, that is, almost psychedelic-jazz moods with oriental touches built on a strong, shifting rhythm. Highly recommended. (JL) -

Highdelberg's music combines the psychedelic Guru Guru with the more melodic and orderly rock of Kraan, thanks to which the album is more compact and not as improvised as Guru Guru, but retains the psychedelic atmosphere and experimental character of German rock of the mid-70s. -
KARTHAGO (GER) - KARTHAGO – Rock ’n’ Roll Testament - MIG Digipak Remastered Editionprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
The band's third studio album, from 1974, which musically can be placed alongside Nektar, Birth Control and Frumpy, but Karthago makes greater use of funk, soul and Latin rhythms. In the guitar parts you can hear the weight of hard rock associated with Deep Purple, while Ingo Bischof's extended keyboards bring to mind at times Uriah Heep and the progressive scene of the early 70s. -
KARTHAGO (GER) - KARTHAGO – Live At The Roxy (2CD) - MIG Remastered Editionprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR

The two most important albums by the German band Kin Ping Meh from the period when the band was among the top of European progressive rock. The music combines heavy guitar sound with extended parts for Hammond organ, piano, mellotron and Moog, creating a characteristic combination of krautrock, psychedelia and progressive rock. Fans of, among others, Pink Floyd, early Jane, Deep Purple and early Neil Young will be enchanted! -
