GILA - Gila - EU Eclipse Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

Released in 1971 by BASF, a wonderful debut album by a German band inspired by the work of Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream, Amon Dull II and Popol Vuh (Gila's leader later worked with that group), stylistically resembling a very long version of "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" divided into six parts! A very spacious, somewhat cosmic sound, very few (British) vocals, ubiquitous guitars, excellent production and great, natural sound. This is one of the ten best albums from Germany! A must!
