KARTHAGO – Live At The Roxy (2CD) - MIG Remastered Edition

Karthago is a German rock band founded in 1971 in West Berlin, in whose music one can look for comparisons above all to Nektar, Birth Control, Guru Guru and at times Frumpy. In the heavier passages one can also hear the influence of Deep Purple, while the extended instrumental and keyboard parts may bring to mind Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Uriah Heep. The album originally came out in 1976 on Bacillus/Bellaphon as a double LP. This MIG edition contains the full material from the live album, the recordings were made in Hamburg and at the "Roxy Palast" in Berlin; the material has been digitally remastered.
