Two albums by a progressive-jazz band ("The Trio" from 1970 and "Conflagration" from 1971), made up of the British saxophonist John Surman, the American double bassist Barre Phillips and the American drummer Stu Martin. ANALOGUE SOUND! A very rare, complete (OBI strip and a lyric insert), first Japanese edition (from 1983) of what is, in my opinion, the last classic album by the Canadian hard rockers (often compared to heavy, but less progressive Rush). TROWER, ROBIN (see also: Procol Harum) - ROBIN TROWER - Twice Removed From Yesterday - CANADIAN Chrysalis ('green') 1973 1st Press - NEAR MINT VINTAGE VINYLprice: 300,00 PLN / 75,00 EUR
ANALOGUE SOUND! A very rare first Canadian edition (from 1973) of the excellent debut album by the Hendrix-fascinated Procol Harum guitarist. Slightly psychedelic and above all rather heavy, bluesy playing in a trio with overdriven guitar. In the mid-70s Trower's trio quite deservedly had the status of a rock star in the USA! Sleeve: EXCELLENT+ / Record: MINT- -
TROYKA - TROYKA - Troyka +1 - EU Sun King Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Originally released by Cotillion in 1970, the only, but excellent, album by a Canadian trio playing a combination of a heavy variety of psychedelic rock with strong vocals - in the style of Hendrix and Sir Lord Baltimore, with elements of Eastern European (mainly Ukrainian) folklore (mandolin) and early Captain Beefheart. There is not a single boring track on the record and I remember that many years ago it was an absolute killer for me! In addition the record includes a 6-minute, heavy guitar number, unreleased on vinyl, from the same recording session! 2024 reissue, in a single sleeve enlivened with two photos. Highly recommended! Condition: NEW, unsealed. (JL) -

TUCKY BUZZARD (see also: End / Fuzzy Duck) - TUCKY BUZZARD - Coming On Again (1971 Spanish Album) - SWE Flawed Gems - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
On a single CD for the first time! This fantastic and in my opinion without a doubt the best album in the career of this British hard rock formation was recorded at the end of 1970 and released only in Spain, at the beginning of 1971 - just before the LP "Tucky Buzzard" (from May 1971) made by American Capitol. That this is the band's true debut is shown by the fact that Paul Francis drummed only on this album - from spring 1971 already the drummer of the group Fuzzy Duck! In any case, this album, recorded with the (small) help of a symphony orchestra, without a doubt has a more progressive character than the subsequent records; you can hear perfectly that it is 1970, and the music itself is downright sensational! In addition, a rare track from the B-side of a Spanish single released by the band under a changed name is included. A genuine rock classic! A MUST! -

TYGERS OF PAN TANG (see also: Thin Lizzy / Whitesnake) - TYGERS OF PAN TANG - Live In The UK 1981 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A limited, 52-minute black vinyl, limited to 500 copies, released in a beautiful laminated sleeve with several rare early photos of the band. This truly excellent album features excerpts from two superb and excellent-sounding concerts from the period of the band's second LP, "Spellbound", from 1981. The brilliant live performance for the BBC (on the first side) is almost the best NWOBHM I have heard. Part of the first side and the entire second part is taken up by a 35-minute performance in Nottingham, from April 1981. This is playing with two lead guitars - with John Sykes (later in Thin Lizzy and Whitesnake) and Robb Weir! Two other recordings from the BBC concert ("Slave To Freedom" and "Raised On Rock") appeared on the official and fairly easily available 12" maxi single "Don't Stop By", so they are not included here. A must! Condition: MINT/NEW, unsealed. (JL) -

UFO - UFO - Live In Germany 1973 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A great, limited, 56-minute vinyl containing very rare, archival and in its own way exceptional material recorded by a quartet still searching for its style and scraping along the commercial bottom, in Recklinghausen, Germany (for a few dozen fans) in June 1973, with the then guitarist, the very young Bernie Marsden - later of Wild Turkey, Babe Ruth and above all Whitesnake. It is worth noting the very attractive set of tracks - alongside classics such as "Boogie" or "Prince Kajuku" (both lasting 10 minutes each) the strongly improvising band offered the not widely known "Sixteen" and covers such as Janis Joplin's "Move Over" and "Back To The USA" from the MC5 repertoire. Besides this, it is probably the only concert by the band on which you can hear Phil Mogg yelling at a fan... 'Suck my cock'! Right after that Marsden was replaced by Michael Schenker and, as they say - the rest is history... In addition (at the end of the first side) there is a very rare cover of "Leaving Here" - recorded already with Schenker, in Berlin in November 1973 - almost a year before the release of the album "Phenomenon"! The sound quality of the record (a so-called 'audience recording'), although raw, is really very good - dynamic, quite selective (you can hear all the instruments perfectly) and somewhat better than on the raw versions presented below in the YouTube links. The cover shows probably the only known live photo of the line-up with Marsden! It is not really a record for audiophiles, but for old-school fans of heavy rock - certainly! Highly recommended! Condition: MINT (NEW, UNSEALED) (JL) -
UFO - UFO - Live At The BBC 1974-1975 - FRA Verne Press - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
This nearly hour-long vinyl contains three radio sessions from the BBC archives. The first 25 minutes are filled by a recording of a concert that took place in London a few months before the release of the LP 'Phenomenon'. The treat is the brief, five-man line-up with two guitarists: Michael Schenker and Paul Chapman! Then two studio radio tracks from 1974 and another, nearly half-hour live set from 1975 from the period of the LP 'Force It' - already with Danny Peyronel on keyboards. The sound quality is perfect, and the excellent, black, heavy vinyl plays loud and without crackle! It is an absolute must! Condition: NEW, but not shrink-wrapped. -
UFO - UFO - Live In Cleveland 1978 - EU Dead Man Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
Released in a beautiful, gatefold, laminated sleeve (inside which are nice concert photos), a single European vinyl, LIMITED TO 500 COPIES, containing an excellent-sounding and superbly played, 57-minute show recorded on 16 October 1978, during the American tour promoting the album "Obsession", on which the brilliant live LP "Strangers In The Night" was made. None of the recordings from Cleveland appeared on Chrysalis's official live record, except for the closing instrumental part of "Rock Bottom" - pasted onto 'SITN' from the version from Chicago three days earlier! The sound quality is excellent (certainly no worse than "Strangers In The Night"), and three tracks ("Hot'n'Ready", "On With The Action" and "Pack It Up And Go") did not appear on the classic record. The 180-gram black vinyl is perfectly pressed! A must! NEW, not shrink-wrapped. -

UFO - UFO - Force It (2LP) - UK Remastered Expanded Deluxe 180g Pressprice: 180,00 PLN / 45,00 EUR
