BABE RUTH (see also: Wild Turkey / Whitesnake) - BABE RUTH - First Base - EU Music On Vinyl 180g Press - LISTENprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
The debut album, released in 1972, is without doubt Babe Ruth's best achievement and at the same time part of the strict canon of prog rock of the early 70s. Almost every track is rock perfection (including the almost hard rock "King Kong" by Frank Zappa; "The Mexican", a combination of Morricone's moods and prog rock; and the stunning "The Runaways", reminiscent of Renaissance's best work! Audiophile edition on 180-gram vinyl. -

BACHDENKEL - BACHDENKEL - Lemmings / Stalingrad (1970-1975) - EU Digipack Edition - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The debut, "Lemmings", recorded in 1970 but not released until 1973 in France, is superb, top-shelf British heavy-progressive with clear, psychedelic touches - at moments very reminiscent of the output of T2. The CD contains the whole of the original French vinyl, but without three (slightly worse sounding) tracks from the same session, released in 1977 on a British EP enclosed with the edition there. The second LP in the discography, "Stalingrad", maintained a decent level and resembled Wishbone Ash tracks of the second half of the 70s. Highly recommended! (JL) -

BACHMAN-TURNER OVERDRIVE (see also: Guess Who) - B.T.O. Live - Japan Tour 1976 - UK Lemon Remastered - UNIKALNY CD - LISTENprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
Released in 1977 but recorded a year earlier during the band's Japanese tour, the Canadians' first live album. On this CD, running to just under 43 minutes, you can clearly hear that the band felt perfectly at home on stage. The eight compositions included here were played very professionally, with nerve and much heavier than their studio originals. This live album can definitely appeal to all fans of heavy, slightly bluesy live playing. Highly recommended. ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed. -

BAKER GURVITZ ARMY (see also: Gun / Cream) - BAKER GURVITZ ARMY - Baker Gurvitz Army +1 - UK Esoteric Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
Remastered British edition of the debut album by the formation founded by drummer Ginger Baker and Adrian and Paul Gurvitz (both ex-Gun and Three Man Army). The record, released in 1975 and thoroughly successful, was filled mainly with rhythmic and almost hard rock material. Worthy of note are Baker's lively drumming and several truly great tracks, such as the dynamic "Help Me", the rhythmically broken "Love Is", and above all the best on the album, the eight-minute "Mad Jack". In addition, this attractively presented CD includes a live version from 1975 of the track "Memory Lane". Recommended! -
