KISS - KISS - Early Studio Demos (March-October) 1973 - FRA Verne RED VINYL Limited Pressprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Released on red vinyl, in a very attractive, laminated sleeve, a superb, 50-minute album containing two superb demos by the band, professionally recorded in 1973 (in March, and then in October), among others by Eddie Kramer at the Electric Lady studios in New York, which led to the band signing a contract with Warner Bros and Casablanca. The sound quality is perfect (the vinyl is pressed excellently and loud), and the then amateur band sounded better in the studio, more dynamic than on the first three albums! Classic hard rock was rarely better than in the performance of Kiss! In addition, two little-known recordings ("Acrobat" and "Life In The Woods") from a rehearsal before the June concert in Amityville are included (see: another vinyl from Verne)! Condition: MINT (NEW, unsealed). (JL) -

KISS - KISS - Alive! In Amityville, June 1973 (Remastered) - FRA Verne RED VINYL Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Released in a very attractive, laminated sleeve, a very good, 52-minute concert, legendary among fans of this then completely unknown band, recorded on 16 June 1973 in Amityville - a full eight months before the release of the debut long-player! The album contains several early recordings not released on any record (the 7-8-minute "Acrobat", "Life In The Woods" and "Simple Type"). The quality of this 'audience recording' is great and much better than the previous versions (with 'drifting' sound on several tracks) - known even from YouTube! I repeat: the sound of this LP beats the earlier versions and the links from the internet should be treated only as a 'sample'! Edition on red vinyl. Condition: MINT (NEW, unsealed). (JL) -
KISS - KISS - Creatures Of The Night - 40th Anniversary Edition - EU Half-Speed Remastered 180g Pressprice: 200,00 PLN / 50,00 EUR
Released in 1982, the album was the band's return to very nice, heavy playing. At moments the band sounds almost metal! A remastered, anniversary edition. -
KISS - KISS - Early Studio Demos, March - October 1973 - SPA Top Gear Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Released in a very attractive sleeve, a superb, 80-minute Spanish CD containing two professionally recorded and superb-sounding studio sessions (nine tracks altogether), recorded in March and October 1973 (including with Eddie Kramer as producer) - a few months before the release of the debut album! Additionally three long, forgotten pieces ("Acrobat", "Simple Type" and "Life In The Woods") from a very nice concert from the summer of 1973 and two unpublished recordings from the rehearsal before the performance are included! In my opinion it is the best, heaviest studio material the band ever recorded! It is known that the band had a knack for composing catchy pieces and I have always thought that classic hard rock in the style of Slade rarely got better than Kiss in the first half of the 70s! A must! (JL) -

KLUBS (see also: Strife) - KLUBS - Midnight Love Cycle (1967-69) - UK Wooden Hill - LISTENprice: 90,00 PLN / 22,50 EUR
The British magazine Record Collector (once the collectors' Bible) classed the vinyl version of this CD as a 1999 REISSUE OF THE YEAR! The Klubs played heavyish, psychedelic rock in the style of Skip Bifferty and the Pretty Things. The CD version contains mainly material from 1968 (and one track each from 1967 and 1969) and as a bonus 3 tracks from 1972 (including one by Strife) and 5 from a concert in 2000. In 1972 the guitarist founded the aforementioned heavy rock band Strife. Sizeable booklet! Recommended! -

Remastered and very good-sounding, Italian edition of the legendary debut (studio) album by a very popular Yugoslav group. A remastered reissue from Repertoire Records, modelled on the British original. Adorned with a brilliant cover, a great album, though until a certain point almost unknown, once released by Decca. Uncompromising, heavy rock built on catchy guitar riffs and backed by the superb vocals of Pete French (later in Atomic Rooster and Cactus), in the vein of Free (on steroids), Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin. The original British LP (once released in only 500 copies) is worth over 12 000 pounds today! New, sealed. A MUST! (JL) -
