The second album by a Dutch supergroup made up of former members of Ekseption, Cuby & The Blizzards and (on the second one) Wolf (Ian Mosley, later of Marillion). The music is very richly arranged and draws on the work of classical composers. The band played without a guitar, but fans of ELP, Yes and Refugee will be very pleased. The album also includes a 22-minute suite. In addition, half of the third album, 'White Ladies' (1976). Recommended! -

A very influential (like, say, the early albums of Procol Harum), but all in all underrated, early-progressive second album containing, among others, "Pearly Queen", "Feelin' Alright" and the brilliant "Cryin' To Be Heard". Superb album, probably the best psychedelic record from South America! On their second album (the earlier mini-album "A Bailar A Go-Go" from 1968 contained recordings from singles) the band combined classic, slightly Doors-like and Floyd-like psychedelia in a unique way, with the sound of overdriven, Hendrix-style guitars, folk-ballad moods and occasional flute or saxophone parts. The result is highly original, very intense material, and above all completely different from even European or American psychedelic rock! This is the best-sounding CD edition ever released, taken straight from the Peruvian master tape! Highly recommended! The album is out of print, so this is the last copy! -

Probably the best German album to come out of the heavy progressive rock scene and one of the best in the entire history of heavy, progressive playing! Released in 1972 by German United Artists, it is a hugely dynamic and fantastically produced blend of the styles of Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Out Of Focus (without the horn blowing) and Beggars Opera, with a powerful and very classy British vocal. Wonderful, powerful sound, plenty of organ passages, sharp guitar solos, quite a lot of flute and lots of rhythm changes - simply sensational! -

Bruford and Holdsworth played only on the debut album. It was the last band of the 70s to successfully revisit the best achievements of the genre (especially King Crimson).
