A very good, second album by the future classics of Italian progressive rock. On this record, released in 1970, the band offered a mixture of heavy, psychedelic rock with ambitious pop. The whole recalls Le Orme's first album, the early recordings of the Hungarian Omega, and also Vanilla Fudge, Gods and Deep Purple from the debut period! All in all it is a somewhat underrated record that is really a great pleasure to listen to! -

A new edition (in a plastic jewel case) of the classic fourth album (1972) by a popular and esteemed Italian progressive band. Originally released as a double vinyl and sung in English, the title contained, as it were, two different titles in one! The first part (record) was dominated by delicate, classical-leaning sounds (including organ, mellotron, choirs) with plenty of acoustic, spacious passages, though not free of dynamic changes (e.g. the 10-minute 'To Edith'). The second, much more rock part, on the other hand, was filled with compositions played live in the studio (with an audience pasted in here and there), almost hard rock, though at times somewhat chaotic, which could easily have found a place on the earlier LP 'Concerto Grosso' (1971) (e.g. 'Bright Lights' or the 18-minute 'Lying Here' closing the whole), inspired by Deep Purple, Jethro Tull and Colosseum. Highly recommended! -

Limited to 500 copies, a beautifully produced LP (in a laminated sleeve) containing material not previously released on vinyl, recorded live in Stockholm for Swedish radio in December 1967 - a week before the release of the band's excellent debut record. In my opinion it is the best material by The Nice that I have heard in my life - a combination of Pink Floyd (with Syd Barrett) with Zappa and The Soft Machine. Excellent, perfect sound quality. The band never recorded several of the compositions on official records ("You Keep Me Hangin' On", "Sombrero Sam"). A MUST! NEW, SEALED. -

First time on a full-size vinyl record! Released in a limited run in Italy, superb, perfect-sounding, over 50-minute, unique material originally recorded by Niemen in Italy (first with the band Akwarele and then with Enigmatic) between February 1969 and March 1970. Produced in a very attractive, gatefold sleeve (containing inside the designs of all the significant Italian releases with Niemen's recordings and a copy of a rare, promotional poster), the vinyl gathers fifteen recordings - including six from the very rare and fan-sought three monophonic singles on the CGD label (though "Io Senza Lei", that is "Dziwny jest ten świat", is here in a rare stereo mix); then three previously unreleased tracks from unique compilations (recorded with Enigmatic), two previously unreleased demo recordings from February 1969 (one sung in English) and four unpublished, live pieces from May 1969 ('covers' of foreign classics, such as "Jumpin' Jack Flash" or "Hey Jude"), from a performance in a small Roman club. After 1970 none of the nine studio, Italian-language recordings ever appeared on any format, either in Poland or in Italy! The sound quality is perfect (better than on YouTube!), although the live recordings taken from the mixing desk have certain limitations, they still sound far better than the versions sometimes available on the internet. This is an absolutely obligatory item for every single lover, without exception, of the work of both Niemen and classic Polish rock! AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Condition: NEW, SEALED (with a sticker on the shrink-wrap). -

A superb, perfectly sounding (the sound comes from the mixing desk), hour-long recording made at the Opole festival in July 1971. Released in a very attractive gatefold sleeve, the vinyl contains only five extended tracks - including two suites: "Bema pamięci żałobny rapsod" and "Człowiek jam niewdzięczny". Czesław was accompanied by the musicians behind the 'Red Album' - with Mikuła and Jaśkiewicz in the leading roles. To tell the truth, it is hard to understand why this wonderful concert never came out in Poland - perhaps because it spent all those years in private hands... A MUST!
