TRUST (see also: Iron Maiden) - TRUST - Repression - EU Edition - LISTENprice: 50,00 PLN / 12,50 EUR
An absolutely classic hard-rock album - containing, among others, the original version of "Antisocial" - known from the Anthrax cover. On the next album Nicko McBrain played drums. -
TYGERS OF PAN TANG (see also: Thin Lizzy / Whitesnake) - TYGERS OF PAN TANG - Wild Cat - NL Music On Vinyl 180g Pressprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
Released in the summer of 1980, a superb debut by one of the most important and popular bands of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. It's a sharper Thin Lizzy and UFO, combined with the Judas Priest of the time - still with the sound of the late 70s. 2023 edition. -
UFO - UFO - No Place To Run +4 - EU Remastered Expanded Editionprice: 80,00 PLN / 20,00 EUR
Remastered edition of the tenth album (the eighth studio album) - the first recorded without Schenker in the line-up, yet still excellent and kept in the vein of the group's last records of the seventies! Plus four unreleased bonus tracks! (JL) -

VARDIS - VARDIS - 100 M.P.H. - UK Back On Black GREY VINYL Press - LISTENprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
One of my favourite albums and at the same time an absolute classic of the NWOBHM movement! It is a live, superbly recorded debut containing dynamic, heavy yet melodic rock (or early metal), played as a trio at quite a fast tempo - a little like the hardest Status Quo tracks on heavy doping, with better guitar parts and at somewhat higher revs - with guitar riffs straight out of Budgie's early records. I have known and loved the record for 40 years and sincerely recommend it to all lovers of heavier sounds! 2017 edition, in a gatefold sleeve, on grey vinyl. -

VARIOUS ARTISTS - NWOBHM - VARIOUS ARTISTS - NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal) At The BBC - 'Friday Rock Show' Volume 1 - 1980-1982 (2LP) - UK Maida Vale / Verne Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 170,00 PLN / 42,50 EUR
In the early 80s the radio programme "Friday Rock Show" (hosted by the legendary DJ Tommy Vance) played a significant role in cementing the popularity of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal movement. All the tracks were recorded live (with minor overdubs) on excellent equipment and with the best British producers, at the BBC Maida Vale studios in London. This fantastic, 115-minute double compilation (like the also double Volume 2) contains complete, generally 13-18-minute recording sessions (in excellent sound quality) by seven classic bands of the movement, recorded in the period from October 1979 to April 1980. Alongside renowned names such as Def Leppard, Saxon, Angel Witch or Tygers Of Pan Tang, we have here such sensations as Samson (with a very young Bruce Dickinson), the brilliant Trespass (probably the most underrated band of the whole genre) and the melodic but claw-showing Praying Mantis. This beautifully produced (in a stunning cover by Rodney Matthews - the one behind Nazareth's "No Mean City" or Diamond Head's "Borrowed Time") double album contains only music (complete recordings - to the second) - without any announcements! Traditional heavy rock/early metal cannot be better! The sound and pressing quality is excellent! It is an absolute MUST! NEW, SEALED. -

WHITE SPIRIT (see also: Iron Maiden / Gillan / Tank) - WHITE SPIRIT - White Spirit +3 - JAP Expanded Limited Edition - LISTENprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
The debut album (the next one was released only after the reunion in 2022) by a British heavy-metal band. Janick Gers played guitar - later in Gillan, and then in Iron Maiden. It is worth adding that the band was seriously inspired by the work of Deep Purple. A limited edition from Japanese Geffen, with three additional tracks. -

WISHBONE ASH - WISHBONE ASH - Live Dates Volume Two - EU Music On CD Editionprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR

WISHBONE ASH - WISHBONE ASH - Live Dates Volume Two (1976-1980) - AUT Enigmatic Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
On CD for the first time! An excellent double album recorded during various performances by the quartet in 1976-1980 and released by MCA in 1980 - it has finally got its CD debut! This Austrian CD, made under licence from Universal, contains exactly 80 minutes of music and compared with the vinyl edition is shorter by... a minute or two in total of long ovations at the beginning and end of the record and several seconds of applause between tracks. Importantly, unlike the vinyl edition, the CD has no gaps between tracks, and the individual pieces (or rather the applause) flow smoothly into one another, which gives Live Dates Vol. 2 much more drama. As for the music, there is no need to praise it! The band was in excellent form, and the fantastic sound quality only contributes to an even better experience of this rock classic! I admit that I have never heard Wishbone Ash sound so good and clear on CD! This edition sounds much better than the somewhat muddy Real Gone label CD. Highly recommended! (JL) -

ZZ TOP - ZZ TOP – Original Album Series - Volume 2 1971-1990 (5 CD) - EU Card Sleeve Boxprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
Five albums from 1971-1990, in the form of card sleeves (mini LP) put into a cardboard case. A second, very good cross-sectional set by ZZ TOP, containing: ZZ Top's First Album (1971), Tejas (1976), El Loco (1981), Afterburner (1985), Recycler (1990). Compared with the first volume it shows the band's further development — from bluesy hard rock through the more commercial sound of the 80s to Recycler.
