DEF LEPPARD - DEF LEPPARD - Live At The BBC 1979-1980 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, a 55-minute black vinyl released in a beautiful, laminated sleeve with rare, very early photos of the band. This genuinely wonderful album contains two legendary concerts from the period before and just after the release of the debut LP 'On Through The Night'. First, a 32-minute, fantastic-sounding show from August 1979 (taken from the original, promotional BBC Transcription Disc + an additional, missing track 'Rock Brigade' from another source), when the band had a self-financed EP to its name. Most of the second side is taken up by an almost complete, 24-minute show from the 1980 Reading Festival (with a brilliant version of 'Lady Strange' from the second record) - in almost equally good quality! The album contains rare titles not released on official records, such as 'Glad I'm Alive' and 'Medicine Man'. Generally I am not a die-hard Def Leppard fan, but on the first two albums and at the early concerts (with two lead guitars in the old style) they were phenomenal! The whole sounds 20% better than the best versions on YouTube (links below). A must! Condition: NEW, but not shrink-wrapped. -

FULL MOON (USA) - FULL MOON - Full Moon +2 - EU Sun King Expanded Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Originally released in 1980, the only, but superb, album by an American hard rock band playing with two guitars in the style of Thin Lizzy, UFO, Wishbone Ash and above all Truth And Janey! Both tracks from the single "Cross Country Man / State Of The Artist" (1982) have been added to the privately released LP. It is ambitious and truly refined, heavy playing in the British style and it is hard to believe that this perfectly sounding album was recorded for little money (in an old theatre) and released by the band itself in an edition of a thousand copies (today in perfect condition the record is worth 0...). 2024 reissue, in the original sleeve. Highly recommended! Nobody will be disappointed! Condition: NEW, unsealed. (JL) -

IGRA STAKLENIH PERLI - IGRA STAKLENIH PERLI - Vrt Svetlosti / Soft Explosion Live 1978 - US Digipack - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Igra Staklenih Perli is a very good Yugoslav formation from Belgrade, whose second album, released in 1980, still contained five space-rock, progressive tracks resembling the output of Hawkwind, Pink Floyd, Eloy, Can, and even early Gong. One of the most original records from behind the Iron Curtain! In addition this CD includes seven live tracks from 1978. -
IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Soundhouse Tapes EP And More Rare Early Tracks December 1978 - April 1980 - FRA Verne Limited Press - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
Limited to 500 copies, a 55-minute black vinyl released in a very attractive, laminated sleeve with nice early photos of the band. The album contains rare, hard-to-find, single, radio or compilation recordings by the band made between December 1978 and April 1980 - just before the release of the debut album! I am from the old school, which values the vocalist Paul Di'Anno more than (otherwise excellent) Bruce Dickinson, and the first two albums will never be beaten by the later titles... Of course the greatest value lies in the tracks from the title, legendary EP "Soundhouse Tapes" (along with the bonus track "Strange World" from the same session) - released privately in 1979 by the band on its own label Rock Hard in a run of 5000 copies and today in perfect condition worth about 2500 euros. In addition plenty of superb recordings have been included, for example the full studio session for BBC radio from November 1979, both tracks from the compilation "Metal For Muthas", the very rare demo version of "Running Free" - known from the German EMI single of 1980. An attractive bonus, not released (like the BBC session) on any official vinyl, is the live version of "Running Free" from the TV programme 'Top Of The Pops' (February 1980) - here in excellent quality. Overall the record sounds wonderful and is a fantastic complement to the band's first two titles! A must! NEW, but not shrink-wrapped. -
IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Live At Reading Festival 1980 And More Rare Early Tracks - EU Verne RED VINYL Press - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A RED VINYL limited to 500 copies, lasting 52 minutes, released in a very attractive, laminated sleeve with nice early photographs of the band. On the first side the album contains a perfect-sounding concert from the Reading festival, broadcast by the BBC, from August 1980, and on the second side three live tracks from the Marquee, from July 1980 - known from the Japanese mini LP "Live! + One" from 1980, the unpublished "Iron Maiden" from the same performance and a live, unique version of "Women In Uniform" from the TV programme "Top Of The Pops" (November 1980) - here in excellent quality. Generally the record sounds wonderful and is a fantastic complement to the debut album and the compilation "The Soundhouse Tapes EP And More Rare Early Tracks December 1978 - April 1980", released by the same label. A must! Condition: NEW, unsealed. (JL) -
IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Live At Reading Festival 1980 And More Rare Early Tracks - FRA Verne BLUE VINYL Press - VERY RAREprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
A BLUE VINYL limited to 500 copies, lasting 52 minutes, released in a very attractive, laminated sleeve with nice early photographs of the band. IRON MAIDEN - IRON MAIDEN - Live At The Rainbow December 1980 - The Complete Show - SPA Top Gear Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
A CD limited to 500 copies contains a recording of the full 80-minute performance that took place at the Rainbow Theatre in London in December 1980 - two months before the release of the second LP, "Killers". The band (still with Paul Di'Anno on vocals) recorded a classic, 30-minute, stunning video at the time (with an identical cover to this CD), but the audio material never appeared on an official release. The disc contains the full performance (recorded by a fan on very decent equipment) together with the original versions of two tracks which on the official VHS were specially repeated, because the band made several mistakes! Fans know what I mean... The sound quality is really very good, and what a superb cover! It is a great treat for every fan of the band and of classic metal! A must! (JL) -
JETHRO TULL - JETHRO TULL - Live In Los Angeles 1980 - FRA On The Air Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Excellent, 80-minute, unofficial material released in France in 500 copies, dating from December 1980 - from the last concert closing the American tour promoting the album 'A'. It was probably the last Jethro Tull line-up playing with rock verve and, what is more, progressively, and the material from the album 'A' came off here much more dynamically - downright excellently! It is worth adding that keyboards and electric violin were played by Eddie Jobson (just after the break-up of the group U.K.), so the whole thing sounded very professional and blazing. Generally it is an excellent complement to the official CD "Bursting Out" (all in all few tracks are repeated), and the sound quality is perfect, because this radio concert once came out on ABC Network vinyl from the series "A Night On The Road" and it was (probably) from that medium that this material was mastered. A real treat for fans of classic rock! A MUST! -

The (UK) mark appears at the very bottom of the back cover. Great condition! The sleeve is perfectly clean and fresh, though it has a few creases on the corners: strong EXCELLENT / Record played maybe twice - without any scratches, with superb sound: MINT-
