MUSHROOM (see also: East Of Eden) - MUSHROOM - Early One Morning - EU Press - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 110,00 PLN / 27,50 EUR
The music of this Irish band is great electric folk-rock (with slightly progressive touches), based on the sound of the violin and at times uncannily reminiscent of the classic period of Fairport Convention (1969-70). Recommended! Reissue in a gatefold sleeve, sealed. -
SKID ROW (see also: Gary Moore / Thin Lizzy) - SKID ROW - Skid / 34 Hours + Bonus Tracks (2CD) - UK BGO Remastered Edition - LISTENprice: 95,00 PLN / 23,75 EUR
A compilation containing two albums by the Irish band led by the young Gary Moore. The second LP in particular is a masterpiece of heavy, massive playing - with striking guitar riffs and dense drumming (with double bass drum). Of course the debut is also great - only less rocking. Plus six single tracks. Highly recommended! -
TASTE (see also: Rory Gallagher / Stud) - TASTE - In Concert 1968 / In The Beginning - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The CD contains material from two lesser-known, though catalogue, albums. The first LP is a recording of a fantastic concert from London's Marquee (from October 1968) - which was, incidentally, meant to be this band's actual debut! Officially the material came out only in Germany in 1978 as "Taste Featuring Rory Gallagher - In Concert". The second part of the CD is a session from 1967 recorded still in Ireland (released by Decca in 1974 as "Rory Gallagher - In The Beginning"). A must! -

TASTE (see also: Rory Gallagher / Stud) - TASTE - On The Boards - UK Edition - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
An excellent second (and last studio) album by Gallagher and co. - still blues-rock, but showing clear influences of progressive rock and containing, among others, the brilliant, almost 7-minute "It's Happened Before It'll Happen Again". Highly recommended! -

An album containing the band's entire performance at the festival on the Isle of Wight, on 28 August 1970. -

TASTE (see also: Rory Gallagher / Stud) - TASTE - Taste - EU Music On Vinyl Press - LISTENprice: 150,00 PLN / 37,50 EUR
Released in 1969, an excellent blues-rock debut by an Irish trio - with Rory Gallagher on guitar! It is a more bluesy and somewhat rawer, late Cream! Highly recommended! (JL) -

The first side contains recordings made almost live in the studio (including a 6-minute, long version of "Whisky In The Jar"), while the second part is a 30-minute, thrilling show for a small audience, with a brilliant version of "The Rocker" and an early version of "Suicide". The sound quality is sensational! The 180-gram black vinyl is perfectly pressed! A must! NEW, not shrink-wrapped. -

Released in a limited edition, a double album featuring BRILLIANT live material recorded between November 1976 and March 1978, during the tours promoting the records "Johnny The Fox" and "Bad Reputation". ATTENTION! This is an alternative "Live And Dangerous", 40 minutes longer and better sounding! None of the tracks appeared on that record (or on the rare LP "Still Dangerous - Philadelphia 1977" released a few years ago), so all the versions are previously unreleased, as they come from other performances. In addition, there are six compositions here that are absent from the 1978 classic ("Soldier Of Fortune", "Johnny", "It's Only Money", "Me And The Boys", "Opium Trail" and "Bad Reputation"). This 118-minute album is perfectly pressed and sounds excellent! A must! Condition: MINT, NEW unsealed. -

THIN LIZZY - THIN LIZZY - Shades Of A Blue Orphanage +9 - UK Remastered Expanded Edition - LISTENprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
Beautifully presented, remastered edition of the second album by Lynott's formation, expanded with nine tracks (singles, other mixes and four great tracks from the BBC). It was decidedly progressive playing that in its own way combined the style of heavy rock with elements of folk and ballad. The album did not sell at all at the time (which is hardly surprising, as that was the norm then for little-known bands), but soon afterwards the situation changed for the better thanks to "Whiskey In The Jar" (here in a nearly 6-minute version). Highly recommended! (JL) -
