ATLANTIS (see also: Frumpy / Emergency) - ATLANTIS – The Complete Vertigo Studio Recordings 1972–1975 (2CD) - MIG Music Editionprice: 120,00 PLN / 30,00 EUR
The first four albums, that is the whole studio output of Atlantis (a German band formed after the break-up of the group Frumpy) for the legendary Vertigo label, presenting a full picture of the development of this one of the most interesting German rock bands of the first half of the seventies. The band, led by the charismatic vocalist Inga Rumpf, skilfully combines blues rock, hard rock, soul and funk, creating a sound with great expressive power. The debut album delights with heavy guitars and strong, bluesy feeling, while the subsequent records bring increasingly melodic compositions, richer arrangements and greater stylistic variety. -
ISAIAH - ISAIAH - Isaiah - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
The only, truly great album by an Austrian progressive band that once recorded for CBS. A classic album with extended compositions, changing moods and a good deal of saxophone and flute parts. Highly recommended! -
PATERNOSTER - PATERNOSTER - Paternoster - GER Press - VERY RARE - LISTENprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
A very nice record by a completely unknown (though now very much cult) band from Austria, whose original LP, released by CBS in 1972, is worth over 5000 dollars! Intense, though somewhat overwhelming music, based on the interplay of organ and guitars. Highly recommended! -
PATERNOSTER - PATERNOSTER - Paternoster - US Now-Again Remastered Editionprice: 100,00 PLN / 25,00 EUR
A remastered edition of a very nice record by a completely unknown (though now very cult) band from Austria, whose original LP, released in 1972 by CBS, is worth over 5000 euros! Intense, if somewhat overwhelming, music based on the interplay of organ and guitars. Highly recommended! (JL)
