ZABRISKIE POINT - Film By Michelangelo Antonioni (DVD)

Zabriskie Point is a place in the famous Death Valley in California. Riots break out at the university in Los Angeles. Black students protesting against racial discrimination are joined by white ones. They demand equal rights and the provision of jobs. During a demonstration a policeman is killed. A witness to the events is Mark, who flees the city in a stolen light aircraft, thereby casting suspicion on himself of taking part in the shooting in which the policeman died. In the Arizona desert he meets the hippie Daria. A 1970 film by Michelangelo Antonioni, known mainly for the fact that the band Pink Floyd were co-creators of the soundtrack.
