YUYA UCHIDA & THE FLOWERS - Challenge! +7 - EU Eclipse Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

Released in summer 1969, a classic of the Japanese psychedelic rock circle! The Flowers included, among others, two future members of Flower Travellin' Band! This very nice album generally (apart from one sensational, instrumental psych rock number composed by the band) contained successful, very dynamic covers of classic psychedelic tracks from the repertoire of, among others, Janis Joplin, Cream and Jimi Hendrix. In addition two recordings from the sessions for the album ("Fire" by Arthur Brown and "Five To One" by The Doors) and five superb tracks (including "How Many More Times" and "You Shook Me" from the Led Zeppelin repertoire) recorded at a concert in Tokyo, on 26 January 1970. A MUST! (JL)
