YES - In Concert 1971 - FRA On The Air Limited Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A rare European CD limited to 500 copies, a 77-minute and truly excellent compilation of very rare or unique recordings by the band from its early, breakthrough (just before it won popularity) period - recorded between January and July 1971 (with Bill Bruford on drums and Tony Kaye on organ), during the tours promoting the albums "Time And The Word" and "The Yes Album". The record contains a unique and very interesting setlist, including a superb, improvised, 16-minute version of "America" from the repertoire of Simon & Garfunkel, the 11-minute "It's Love" by the American band The Rascals, known from the second record, fantastic and heavily altered versions of the progressive "Astral Traveller" and the absolutely brilliant "Everydays" from the repertoire of Buffalo Springfield and finally the extended "Yours Is No Disgrace" and "Perpetual Change", lasting 11 and 14 minutes respectively. The sound quality is perfect. In my opinion, alongside the classic "Yessongs", it is the best live Yes material I have ever heard! An absolute must! (JL)
