WILD TURKEY (see also: Jethro Tull/Man/Eyes Of Blue) - WILD TURKEY - Battle Hymn +2 - GER Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RAREprice: 60,00 PLN / 15,00 EUR
One of the best and most underrated bands of the early 70s!!! Founded by Glenn Cornick (ex-Jethro Tull), the band deserved much more than it achieved. An almost perfect combination of hard-rock energy with a slightly folky sound; and above all very tasty guitar parts - close to the style of Wishbone Ash from the period of the LP "Argus". Additionally two live recordings - running to 30 minutes together. A must! -
WILD TURKEY (see also: Jethro Tull/Man/Eyes Of Blue) - WILD TURKEY - Battle Hymn - UK Esoteric Remastered - LISTENprice: 70,00 PLN / 17,50 EUR
This is one of my most adored records from the so-called British second division. New, remastered, British edition of one of the best and most underrated formations of the early 70s!!! Founded by Glenn Cornick (ex-Jethro Tull), the band deserved much more than it achieved. On the debut, made at the beginning of 1972, the band presented an almost ideal combination of hard rock energy with a slightly folky sound and, above all, very tasty guitar parts, close to the style of Wishbone Ash of the LP Argus period. Attractive booklet. Recommended.
