VARIOUS ARTISTS - Pushin' Too Hard - American Garage Punk 1964-67 (3CD) - UK Strawberry Edition

A three-disc box set containing 94 tracks by American garage punk artists of the 60s. Raw, exciting music with plenty of moods – there is of course no shortage of fuzz guitars, but also organs, harmonicas, thudding drums and strong vocals. Here we have recordings by well-known and acclaimed artists, such as The Seeds, The Sonics, The Standells, The Shadows Of Knight, The Thirteenth Floor Elevators, Love, The Electric Prunes, Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band, but also, for the first time on CD, the lesser-known The Blue Beats, The Dirty Wurds, The Apparitions and The Bedlam Four and The Jackals.
