TEAR GAS - Tear Gas - UK Esoteric Remastered Edition - LISTEN

A superb second album in the band's discography, without doubt among the very best of heavy British music! This Scottish band had a very heavy, dark, yet clear and exceptionally heavy sound. Catchy, concise compositions; superb guitar work (Zal Cleminson - years later of Nazareth, among others); a few covers ("Love Story" by Jethro Tull, "Jailhouse Rock" by Elvis) and the occasional Hammond in the background... Soon afterwards the group accepted Alex Harvey's proposal and turned into the Sensational Alex Harvey Band. AN ABSOLUTE MUST! (JL)
