TEAR GAS - Tear Gas (2nd Album) - US Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A superb second album in the band's discography, without a doubt belonging to the very top of heavy British playing! This Scottish band had a very heavy, dark, yet transparent sound. Catchy, concrete compositions; superb guitar parts (Zal Cleminson - years later in Nazareth, among others); several covers (Jethro Tull's "Love Story", Elvis's "Jailhouse Rock") and occasional Hammond in the background... Soon afterwards the group accepted Alex Harvey's proposal and turned into the Sensational Alex Harvey Band. Additionally a live bonus - already with the new leader on vocals! A must! (JL)
