TASAVALLAN PRESIDENTTI - Tasavallan Presidentti +5 - EU Eclipse Expanded Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

Released in 1969, a superb debut album by a Finnish band (the most popular alongside Wigwam) (with a British vocalist) referring to the style of very early Jethro Tull and Procol Harum and Traffic's second album. Very good guitars, a bit of flute and saxophone, great playing from the rhythm section, and that ambient, spacious, lively sound characteristic of the music of the late 60s. Without doubt it is in the top ten of Scandinavian rock! In addition, three tracks from singles (known from the previous CD edition) and two NEVER-RELEASED 12-minute pieces: a live cover of the best Blodwyn Pig track and a great studio track from 1970! Note! This is not the same material as on the 'Swedish' album of the same title recorded a year later! A must! (JL)
