SUPERTRAMP - Supertramp - EU Remastered Edition - LISTEN

A brilliant debut album - one of the best British progressive achievements of 1970! This record, so different from the later titles by this band (by then with a different line-up), resembled the earliest Barclay James Harvest records combined with Genesis from the 'Trespass' period and Blonde On Blonde's 'Rebirth'! A rich, Hammond-based sound, unusual, rather dark compositions, frequent changes of mood and the 12-minute "Try Again" - one of the more charming tracks in the history of prog-rock! A must!
