SUGARLOAF - Sugarloaf / Spaceship Earth (1970-1971) - UK BGO Remastered Edition - LISTEN

An American band with a strong, psychedelic sound based on Hammond organ, with slight influences of blues and classical music. The first record (from 1970) is simply excellent - melodic, very intense, heavy, a bit Doors-like (with elements of Vanilla Fudge, Iron Butterfly and early British progression) and decidedly catchy - simply top-shelf rock classics. What is more, the track "Green-Eyed Lady" is a rock classic known forever! The second album (1971) is slightly weaker, generally gentler, but still with plenty of nice moments and generally very decent. Remastered edition from the label BGO. Highly recommended!
