SPECTRUM - Part One - IRL Rabbit Hall Press - LISTEN - VERY RARE

An excellent, one of the most popular bands in Australia in the early 70s. This (first) album contained progressive music, based on the deep sound of the Hammond organ, though some influences of psychedelia and blues can also be heard. In 1973 Manfred Mann's Earth Band reworked "Make Your Stash" and called it... "Joybringer", and a year later included covers of two (single) Spectrum recordings on the LP "The Good Earth" - perhaps by way of making amends! Highly recommended! (JL)
