SMOKIE - Original Album Classics 1975-1978 (5CD) - EU Sony Card Sleeve Edition - LISTEN

Box set containing the first five classic records by a once popular pop rock formation (now described as "a gentler Badfinger"...): "Pass It Around" (1975) and "Changing All The Time" (1975) - both still recorded under the name SMOKEY, perhaps the best of the band's whole discography, the third album "Midnight Cafe" (1976), as well as the next, equally nice ones: "Bright Lights And Back Alleys" (1977) and "Montreux Album" from 1978. All the CDs are issued as replicas of the original vinyl and slipped into a thick cardboard box. Recommended. (JL)
