SCORPIONS - Lonesome Crow - US Universal Remastered Edition - LISTEN

A stunner! American Universal edition in the original cover! Released in early 1972, the debut by the group of Schenker and Meine is among the very top of the best heavy rock (or rather heavy progressive) albums in rock history! A brilliant and definitive combination of the style of very early Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and (a trace of) Pink Floyd. Wonderful playing by the then 17-year-old guitarist Michael Schenker, extended compositions with a somewhat psychedelic, dark mood, excellent, spacious production! An absolute must!
