RARE EARTH - Get Ready - EU Music On CD Edition - LISTEN

An excellent second album by an American group that was very popular in the early 70s. Solid, gently swaying rhythms, plenty of Hammonds, quite sharp guitars, a little blues. All covers of other people's compositions (including Traffic and Savoy Brown), among them a brilliant, strongly swinging 21-minute version of "Get Ready" by The Temptations. This is an excellent, classic record!!! Highly recommended! (JL)
