QUATERMASS - Quatermass +4 (CD+DVD) - UK Esoteric Remastered Expanded Digipack - LISTEN

Expanded British edition of the only album by a great, unfortunately somewhat forgotten, British formation playing eclectic prog rock in the style of The Nice, Egg and Atomic Rooster (without guitar, but you hardly notice...) based on the interplay of heavy Hammond organ and the rhythm section. In addition the record includes several almost hard rock tracks, including the original version of the track "Black Sheep Of The Family" - known from the debut of the group Rainbow. Among the bonus tracks are two tracks from a single, one live recording and the unreleased "Afraid Not". The second disc is a DVD audio with the album in a Surround version. Highly recommended! (JL)
