The only album (originally released in 1971 by Capitol) by a great American band playing juicy, heavy, decidedly guitar-driven rock with progressive touches (occasional flute), in the style of Bloodrock, Leaf Hound, Tamam Shud and the debut of Bang. This is top-shelf heavy rock - full of extended tracks filled with extended instrumental parts, intense and solidly produced. An Australian 2025 reissue. An absolute classic! A must! (JL)
