OSMOSIS - Osmosis - UK Esoteric Remastered Edition - LISTEN

The sole but excellent album by an American band led by the legendary jazzman Charlie Mariano (at the time fascinated by rock). On the album Osmosis, released in 1970 by RCA, they played heavy, dark and intense progressive rock with clear influences of psychedelia and more than a pinch of jazz. Everything we so cherish about the turn of the 60s and 70s is here - guitar overdrive, sudden twists and a juicy, albeit slightly grubby sound. It is a superb record!
