OMEGA - Skyrover (Omega VIII) - German MIG Music Press - LISTEN

A German 2022 edition. Originally released in 1978 in several European countries and in America, the English-language LP Skyrover (released in Hungary as Omega 8: Csillagok Útján) is among Omega's most valued albums of the second half of the seventies and forms a bridge between the monumental Időrabló and the groundbreaking Gammapolis. The band develops here its characteristic symphonic-progressive sound, enriching it with even more extended synthesiser parts and subtle electronic textures. The record captivates with a coherent atmosphere, rich arrangements and a skilful combination of melodiousness with progressive sweep.
