DEEP PURPLE - New, Live & Rare - Official Archive Collection (1969-71) - UNIKALNY CD

Released by Purple Records, this British compilation collects rare live recordings (including some from rare bootlegs) and television performances by the band's most famous line-up, the second one, with Gillan and Glover. Particularly noteworthy are the superbly recorded Wring That Neck (August 1969) from Amsterdam and an alternative studio version of Black Night. The CD is worth owning for the 9-minute live version of Demon's Eye alone, recorded in 1971 during the American tour. It is a track the band very rarely played live. The sound quality is very good, though not always perfect (half and half). In addition, there is a very attractive booklet with plenty of interesting photos and notes. An absolute must for Deep Purple fans! ONLY ONE COPY! New, sealed.
