NUCLEUS - Elastic Rock / We'll Talk About It Later (2CD) - UK BGO Edition - LISTEN

The first two, without a doubt the best, albums by the legendary British band - once recorded for Vertigo - released years later on a double CD. The group was made up of several experienced British jazzmen who wanted to play rock and a rock guitarist (a former musician of Pete Brown's - Chris Spedding) who had moved into jazz. You can hear the influence of "electric" Miles Davis, early Soft Machine and Colosseum. Both albums are simply fantastic! (JL)
