NOVI SINGERS – NOVI Sing Chopin - Polskie Nagrania / Warner Music Poland Remastered Edition (SACD Hybrid)

Released in 1971, this album is an extraordinary meeting of the classical works of Fryderyk Chopin with the jazz imagination of one of Poland's most interesting vocal groups. Ewa Wanat, Bernard Kawka, Janusz Mych and Waldemar Parzyński treat their voices like instruments, creating multi-layered harmonies, precise melodic lines and passages reminiscent of jazz improvisation. The repertoire includes preludes, mazurkas, waltzes, a scherzo and a fragment of the Ballade in F minor, among others. Reissue in SACD Hybrid format
