MAYPOLE - Maypole - US Gear Fab Edition - LISTEN - OSTATNIE SZTUKI

The album by this American band, released in 1970, is one of my favourite records from the USA! Superb, inventive playing on the edge of late psychedelia, heavy rock and even early prog-rock! Catchy compositions, plenty of juicy, riffing guitar parts, strong, expressive drums, nice, slightly hazy vocals. On top of that the individual pieces made up a larger whole! I would compare this music to the Pretty Things from the period of "S.F. Sorrow", to the late Beatles, and also to Blue Mountain Eagle and the early recordings of Tucky Buzzard. For some unknown reason the record is titled 'The Real' on CD. A MUST!
