MASTER'S APPRENTICES - Choice Cuts - GER Press - LISTEN - VERY RARE

German reissue of the absolutely excellent third album in the discography, released at the beginning of 1971, by this criminally underrated Australian formation. In my humble opinion it is hard to imagine better, classic rock playing! Recorded in London (at Abbey Road), the group's third album is frenzied, hard-progressive and quite melodic playing in the vein of Cream, Jethro Tull, Wishbone Ash and Tamam Shud. Fairly short, though very substantial compositions. It is really hard to understand why this band did not become big (outside Australia)... A must! Condition: sealed. (JL)
