MAINHORSE AIRLINE - Geneva Tapes 1969-1970 - Unreleased Album - SWE Flawed Gems - VERY RARE

This is the band Mainhorse, but in a slightly earlier incarnation! This excellent, limited, rare CD (only 500 copies) contains progressive material, unreleased at the time and issued only in 2007 (on a long-deleted and somewhat worse-sounding CD from RPM), for the first album of the group Mainhorse Airline planned for 1970 - with Moraz, Ristori and Graham - and with David Kubinec (ex-World Of Oz) on vocals! Most of the compositions, in significantly altered (less psychedelic!) versions, appeared a year later (in 1971) on the classic Mainhorse album released by Polydor (also available on CD - now with great bonus tracks from the mega-rare 1972 single). Besides that, there are several unreleased compositions here! This 54-minute REMASTERED and CLEARLY IMPROVED material was originally transferred from several acetates (test pressings, very delicate vinyl), yet the sound quality is almost ideal - only occasionally can slight surface noise be heard. Note the new, beautiful cover by Roger Dean! It is, quite deservedly, an essential item for every lover of early progressive rock! A must!
