Los Shakers - Los Shakers / Break It All (2LP) - Guerssen Records Edition

The Uruguayan group Los Shakers (1965) is one of the best examples of global "Beatlemania" - Los Shakers were even called "the Latin American Beatles". Their dynamic music sounds at moments like a faithful copy of the early Beatles, but it is not mindless imitation. The band's greatest strength is its melodies – light, instantly ear-catching, with very good vocal harmonies and a clean guitar sound.
