KLUBS - Midnight Love Cycle (1967-69) - UK Wooden Hill - LISTEN

The British magazine Record Collector (once the collectors' Bible) classed the vinyl version of this CD as a 1999 REISSUE OF THE YEAR! The Klubs played heavyish, psychedelic rock in the style of Skip Bifferty and the Pretty Things. The CD version contains mainly material from 1968 (and one track each from 1967 and 1969) and as a bonus 3 tracks from 1972 (including one by Strife) and 5 from a concert in 2000. In 1972 the guitarist founded the aforementioned heavy rock band Strife. Sizeable booklet! Recommended!
