KINGDOM - Kingdom - SWE Flawed Gems Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

Made in 1970 (by a label releasing almost exclusively rhythm'n'blues artists...), a forgotten, though truly intriguing, only album by an American hard rock quartet inspired by Led Zeppelin, Cream, Mountain, as well as Buffalo Springfield and Blue Mountain Eagle. This is early, heavy and catchy playing for two lead guitars and organ - at moments showing the influence of British rock. With the exception of one 8-minute track, the record is filled with short, but very substantial tracks with fiery guitar parts in the foreground. The record came out years ago on a very poor-sounding Akarma CD. Now the sound is perfect! Highly recommended!
