KALEIDOSCOPE - White-Faced Lady (1971 Album) - GER Repertoire Digipack Edition - LISTEN

This is one of the most important reissues from Repertoire Records! This CD, released in a digipak, contains an excellent double album recorded in 1971 but not released until 1991 (the fourth in the discography - counting the LP "From Home To Home", released in 1970 under the name Fairfield Parlour), containing the best of Kaleidoscope's pop-psychedelic music - here combined with ambitious, melodic progressive rock of the early 70s! The band put all their money into this record, after which no major label wanted to release it, and as a result it all ended in bankruptcy and the break-up of the group... The music is wonderful and nearly perfect (though the melodramatic cover may put some people off...) and should appeal to every fan of 'psych' and 'prog'. Incidentally, this title, running to over 70 minutes, had been waiting years for a proper edition! An absolute must! (JL)
