Jericho - Guerssen Press Edition (LP - VINYL LP)

A remastered reissue of one of the best heavy-progressive albums in the history of rock! This album, released by A&M (and totally passed over at the time), is real guitar dynamite! This excellent record was filled with 5 tracks (including 3 lasting between 8 and 11 minutes) on the border of heavy rock and typical British progression (without keyboards) - with occasional entries of flute or acoustic guitar - a bit in the style of the sorely missed T2. To tell the truth, it is hard to find in British rock a record as intense as Jericho! Forget Leaf Hound, Jerusalem or Incredible Hog... Neither Budgie, nor Led Zeppelin, nor even Black Sabbath ever delivered such fire as the track Ethiopia opening the whole! I admit that I once did not value this album as much as I do now. Today for me it is a hard rock top twenty of all time!
