ILLUSION - If It's So - EU Eclipse Remastered Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A long-awaited remastered version, from the Eclipse label, of the third and without a doubt best album, released in 1970, by an American band playing quite catchy but heavy psychedelic rock in the vein of Sir Lord Baltimore with a pinch of Vanilla Fudge. Apparently this is the first (and unfortunately last) record on which this once popular New York band rebelled against its manager (after otherwise good but too gentle achievements) and showed its true, rock face. In my opinion it is one of the nicest hard-rock, still slightly psychedelic albums from the States, from the turn of the 60s and 70s! A must! (JL)
