HOOKFOOT - Hookfoot +2 - EU Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

A superb record! This British band accompanied Elton on his early (very successful) albums. Released in 1971, a truly great debut album based on the interplay of excellent guitar and a very solid rhythm section + occasional keyboards and harmonica. Very nice, invigorating playing combining the aesthetics of Wishbone Ash, Wild Turkey and Neil Young. The CD contains two bonuses from the same period, including the superb "Shoeshine Boy" - a 12-minute showcase of improvised, guitar playing and one of my favourite rock tracks! Very good sound! Highly recommended!
