HEAVY RAIN - Heavy Rain - SPA Guerssen Remastered Press - LISTEN

Formed in Blackpool at the end of the 60s, Heavy Rain was a band playing heavy progressive blues, which shared the stage with groups such as Hawkwind, Pink Fairies and Caravan. In 1973, reduced to a trio (Geoff Carter - guitar and vocals, Oggy Hargreaves - bass guitar, Bernie Worsley - drums), they went to London and recorded an album which was not released at the time. The music is psychedelic hard rock with heavy, overdriven guitars.
