HARD MEAT - Hard Meat / Through A Window - AUS Progressive Line Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

One of my quiet favourites! Both albums were released in 1970 by Warner Bros - unfortunately hardly anyone was interested in them. Very subtle, though generally rather dynamic, progressive, guitar-and-organ playing with acoustic interludes. The Brits mixed all sorts of genres: rock, folk, blues and psychedelia and wonderful things came out of it! Melodic compositions, sometimes reaching ten minutes - generally much shorter, though. The band's music brings to mind The Strawbs (with sharp guitar), the Danish Culpeper's Orchard, Jethro Tull, CSN&Y and late The Beatles. Great sound! Digipak edition. A must! (JL)
