EAST OF EDEN - East Of Eden (3rd Album) - GER Repertoire Remastered Edition - LISTEN

The third album by one of the best British bands of the turn of the 60s and 70s! On "East Of Eden" the band changed its line-up (only the violinist - Dave Arbus - remained), and in the process its style somewhat, almost entirely giving up the psychedelic or jazz madness known from the earlier records and concentrating on somewhat heavier playing, while not shying away from folk style. Of course it is still pedigree progressive - with attractive violin, flute and saxophone parts, while the guitar was played by one Jim Roche - the first guitarist of Colosseum. An excellent album! A must! (JL)
