CREEPY JOHN THOMAS - Creepy John Thomas / Brother Bat Bone - US Keyhole Digipack Edition - LISTEN - VERY RARE

This great CD contains the entire output (in order: first the second record from 1970, and only then the debut from 1969) of a forgotten British formation playing heavy psychedelic/progressive rock. The first contains short, 3-minute tracks in the hard/folk/psychedelic moods characteristic of 1969. The second (once released on LP by Decca - only in Germany), meanwhile, has just six tracks full of heavy, spacious and very juicy playing. Lots of guitars, a nice vocal in the style of a young Lemmy and a veeery solid rhythm section - a complete success. Earlier John Thomas played in Rust, and later in the Edgar Broughton Band (on the LP "Bandages"). Highly recommended! (JL)
