CRAZY WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN - Crazy World Of Arthur Brown - FRA Klimt PINK VINYL Press

A brilliant debut album by Arthur Brown (or rather by the band The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown). Without doubt it is one of the most interesting items of the late 60s. An incredible vocalist (inspired by the singing of Otis Redding and James Brown), insistent organ (Vincent Crane - later in Atomic Rooster), nice bass (Nicholas Greenwood - known from the LP "Cold Cuts" and the band Khan), dynamic, superbly arranged, at times almost diabolical compositions and finally the incredible, hit "Fire"! The whole thing was produced by Pete Townsend. A genuine classic of the psychedelic era! A 2025 reissue, on pink vinyl. (JL)
